The launching of the official website of Ukhrul District is a creditable step towards dissemination of information. Information Technology provides a platform to share information, experiences, thoughts and knowledge, which is first step towards transparency and accountability in governance.
It is our endeavor to interact closely with the common man and this website serves as interface through which we invite suggestions from all stakeholders with a view to make the administration more responsive and efficient. National Informatics Centre, NIC, Ukhrul District has done a commended job in launching the website which highlights information regarding various facts of the District, Statistical data, Administrative Setup and other relevant information for the benefit of general public. I congratulate the NIC District Unit, Ukhrul for its efforts in designing, developing, hosting and continual modification of this website online. |
