Ukhrul District HQ Celebrates 69th Republic Day 2018

Ukhrul District HQ celebrates the 69th Republic day 2018 at Bakshi ground, Ukhrul. Dr. Harmit Singh Pahuja, IAS/Deputy Commissioner, Ukhrul District unfurled the National flag and gave salute to the March Past contingents along with Shri Hemant Pandey, IPS/Superintendent of Police, Ukhrul District.

The celebration was marked with the colourful cultural shows from variuos schools and society and also the Assam Rifles band party display. Around 21 march past contingents took part in the competition. Various school students, NCC, VDF, 6th MR, Manipur Police, AR and Ex-Servicemen took part in the competition.
Appreciation Certificates were also given to around 17 officials/staffs from various departments of the district.
At the end of the celebration, a friendly football match was also played between DC11 and SP11.
