Indira Gandhi National Disable Pension Scheme (IGNDPS)
The scheme is under NSAP and emphasizes for the welfare of the disabled persons especially the person of disability with the degree of disability of 80% and above within the age limit of 18-59 years and availing the monthly benefit of Rs. 300/- per month, 78 nos. of such persons were benefitted under the scheme in respect of Ukhrul District.
Grant –in- aid NGOs (Disabled/ Handicapped )
The Ukhrul District Disable Organization Head Office, Litan is the only Organization for the welfare of the disabled person and lump sum grant of Rs. 1,00,000/- ( Rupees one lakh) was assisted.
Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme (IGNWPS)
The scheme is under NSAP and provides a scale of benefit @ Rs 300/- per month to the widow persons living below poverty line within the age of 40-59 years. 272 nos. of widow persons were benefitted in respect of Ukhrul District.
Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme (IGNOAPS)
In case of IGNOAPS, the age of the applicant shall be a minimum of 60 years, earlier it was 65 years. Under MOAPS, the age of the applicant shall be 55 years in case of female, 60 years in case of male . The eligible applicants may visit the District Social Welfare Office, Ukhrul
